This chart below?provides a graph as the number of?ACTIVE LISTINGS?in the Gainesville Florida Multiple Listing Service for this same three month period. ?You will see that our total inventory has has not changed much this month. ?I am seeing a steady stream of the number of homes sold in relationship to the number of homes that were active listings and have now gone under contract. ? Buyers ARE starting to look at homes.

The single family homes active inventory is holding steady for the month of February.??The number of closed sales increased in February and the good sign is active listings are converting to pending sales.
Indicators are showing an increase of buyers actively viewing homes. ?The ?activity? is from the use of electronic lock box entry providing higher number of showings on the active listings for sale. ? ?There also This data & inventory amounts covers?all areas & communities in Alachua County?as per the Gainesville-Alachua County MLS.
These numbers to NOT include vacant land, condominiums, or commercial properties.
