Top rodeo cowboys and cowgirls ? and some of the best country music ??will highlight the first three days of the Sept. 6-22 Washington State Fair in Puyallup.
Craig Morgan ("Redneck Yacht Club" and "Almost Home") will perform after the opening night rodeo, and Trace Adkins ("Ladies Love Country Boys" and "You're Gonna Miss This") will perform following the Saturday night rodeo, part of the Washington State Fair Pro Rodeo, Justin Boots Playoffs.
Tickets for the concerts and pro rodeo will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9.

Tickets also can be purchased at the Fair Box Office, 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Seats are reserved and include fair gate admission, unless noted.
Two types of tickets will be sold for the rodeo and concert on Friday and Saturday evening:
? Combo tickets for the evening rodeo and concert are for reserved seating and include State Fair gate admission. For the Craig Morgan combo concert, ticket-holders must remain at their reserved seat for the concert.
? Tickets to stand in the dirt for the concert only are general admission first come first stand basis ? and include state fair gate admission.
A special season pass is available for rodeo fans. This pass sells for $85, and features the same seat for all five rodeo performances, including the Craig Morgan and Trace Adkins concerts. The season pass includes State Fair gate admission.
Craig Morgan
The singer/songwriter has compacted a lot into his 10 years in the music business. He has 14 top-10 hits ? including "Redneck Yacht Club," "Almost Home," "That's What I Love About Sunday," and "Tough".
Few people have pushed life to the limits like Craig Morgan. He's been an EMT, a contractor, a sheriff's deputy, and a Walmart assistant dairy manager. He's extremely proud of serving nearly two decades for his country. The military has been a big part of his life. He served over 10 years of active duty in the Army's 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, followed by another nine years in the Reserves, the latter of those years during his music career. He was one of the first artists to go into Afghanistan to entertain the troops, and received the USO Merit Award in 2006.

Trace Adkins
With 10 studio albums under his belt, Grammy Award-nominated artist Trace Adkins is known for No. 1 hit songs featuring his trademark baritone, "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "Ladies Love Country Boys," and "You're Gonna Miss This".
Born in Springhill, La., on Jan. 13, 1962, Trace Adkins first looked to the oil business as a livelihood before entering the country music arena. He worked on an oil rig after high school, and studied the petroleum industry in college. The music bug finally took hold, and he moved to Nashville to try his hand in the music industry.
His debut came in 1996 with a platinum selling album, followed by seven more studio albums, and two Greatest Hits compilations. Adkins' album, Songs About Me sold over two million copies in 2005. He has sold over 10 million albums, which have all achieved gold or multi-platinum status.
His latest album, Proud to Be Here topped the Billboard Country Chart and featured the Top Ten single, "Just Fishin'." His 11th studio album will be released this spring, featuring the new American anthem, "Tough People Do." Adkins has racked up four Grammy nominations, five ACM and CMT awards.
He was a finalist in 2008 on Donald Trump's reality TV show, "Celebrity Apprentice," and will be returning to "Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars." In 2011 he played a tougher-than-nails biker in "The Lincoln Lawyer," which also starred Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Phillippe.
He has been an esteemed member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2003, thanks to his choice of songs with insightful lyrics covering a range of interests. He is a television personality, actor and author.
