Tickets are selling like hot cakes for the celebrity chef demos at Bolton Food and Drink Festival 2012.
With only two weeks to go to the four-day foodie spectacular (August 24 to 27), visitors are urged to snap up the last remaining tickets so as not to be disappointed.
Artisan baker and co-presenter of The Great British Bake Off, Paul Hollywood, will provide the perfect appetiser for festival fans when he appears at a gala dinner on Friday, August 24.
Fresh from the new series of the hit baking show, Paul will be guest of honour at the six-course dinner and will give diners a sneak preview of what?s in store at his cookery demonstration on Saturday, August 25.
Paul will deliver his expert baking tips during the first demo of the day on Saturday at 11am, in the festival marquee on Victoria Square, before being joined by fellow The Great British Bake Off presenter, Mary Berry at 1pm and 3pm.
The nation?s favourite French chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, will show audiences exactly why he has accumulated four Michelin stars during his demos on Sunday, August 26.
After starting his career at the age of 14, Jean-Christophe makes regular appearances on TV and now runs his own cookery school, The Novelli Academy.
Jean-Christophe said: ?I?m delighted to be joining Bolton Food and Drink Festival this year and looking forward to cooking with some fantastic local produce.
?I?ve heard Bolton is a friendly town, so I?m also looking forward to meeting people at my demos on Sunday. I?m sure the audience will enjoy the dishes I have in store for them.?
On Monday, August 27, fans of James Martin will be able to catch him for the fourth year running as he delivers his no-nonsense style of cooking to a captive audience.
All celebrity chef demos take place in the AGA Rangemaster Cookery Theatre, in the festival marquee on Victoria Square, and are held at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day.

The Leader of Bolton Council, Councillor Cliff Morris, said: ?We?ve really pulled out the stops this year to present a varied programme of celebrity chef demos.
?Whether you are interested in the basics of baking or fancy a French twist on your favourite dish, the demos appeal to all tastes. They are always a popular attraction at the festival, so I would urge anyone considering attending to buy their tickets now to avoid disappointment.?
Tickets for the gala dinner, featuring Paul Hollywood, are priced ?45 and include a six-course meal, with accompanying fine wine and drinks on arrival. Corporate tables of eight are available for ?320. Book via the website or box office.
Students from festival sponsors, Bolton College, have designed and will make dessert for the gala dinner, entitled Bolton Chocochino.
Marie Gilluley, Principal of Bolton College, said: ?The Food and Drink Festival provides a great opportunity for visitors to sample a whole host of culinary delights. At Bolton College, we deliver over 90 courses and a range of apprenticeships in catering and hospitality for budding chefs and foodies alike, so we were keen to support the festival again this year.?
?Our students have prepared the final dish at the six-course dinner and we are certain their creations will be just as delicious as the professionals? dishes!?
