This is a Full-Time Temporary position commencing with the start of the 2012-2013 school year until January 31, 2013. The assignment includes teaching Physical Education and team teaching Industrial Arts/CTS classes.
Dr. Swift Middle School is located in the Town of Lac La Biche with approximately 320 students in grades 6 to 8.

Applicants must:
- Have a Bachelor of Education Phys. Ed/ IA
- Have the ability to teach a variety of skills including, but not limied to metal fabrication
- Have an understanding of Middle School Philosophy
- Have the ability to work effectively with diverse students and parent groups
- Be willing to work collaboratively as a member of a professional learning community
- Have familiarity with strategies to address different learning styles and deliver appropriate IPP's
- Have strong interpersonal skills
Training and skills that would be an asset include:
- Experience and/or training in metal fabrication/welding
- The ability to infuse ICT curriculum outcomes
- Willingness to contribute to the schools athletic or fine arts extra-curricular programs
